
Mafalda Colonnata Lard conquers Rai 1's "It's Always Midday"
Another important milestone for Mafalda , a historic Colonnata company specializing in the production of the prized Lardo di Colonnata PGI . In today's episode of the program "È sempre mezzogiorno," hosted by Antonella Clerici on Rai 1 , our lard took center stage, bringing to TV all the passion, history, and tradition we put into our work every day.

Lardo di Colonnata is more than just a cured meat: it's a tale of mountains, marble, and expert hands. Crafted according to ancient local tradition, the lard is cured in the characteristic marble basins of the Apuan Alps, with a secret blend of aromatic herbs, spices, and salt. Slow curing in natural, consistent environments gives the product its unmistakable aroma, soft texture, and full, delicate flavor.
